Due to hotel stipulations, a minimum number of blocked rooms must be utilized by the AVS; therefore, the FINAL day to cancel your reservation without penalty is 5:00 pm EST on October 2, 2023. Reservations cancelled AFTER 5:00 pm EST on October 2, 2023, will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax per reservation. NOTE: The reservation cancellation fee is in addition to any hotel charges you may incur. If you cancel directly with the hotel, you will still be charged the cancellation fee. You are also subject to your individual hotel’s cancellation policy. Hotel requires cancellation of two business days prior to the day of arrival. Parking:
Onsite parking is provided in the convention center’s underground garage. You may enter the garage through either the NE Lloyd Boulevard (P1) or NE First Avenue (P2) entrances. Clearance on the P1 Level is 7 feet; clearance on the P2 Level is 9 feet. We have a total of 800 spaces.

• The Oregon Convention Center does not guarantee parking availability. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Parking and accommodations for people with health conditions or impairments: Both levels of the OCC parking garage provide accessible spaces with easy access to elevators. There are 10 accessible spaces on Parking Level 1 (P1) and 11 accessible spaces on Parking Level 2 (P2). Luggage Storage:
Should you need to store any luggage upon your arrival/departure to/from the Convention Center, you may leave it at the AVS Registration Desk or in the Event Office A104.

Nursing Suites and Sensory Pods:
The Oregon Convention Center provides two Mamava nursing suites that can also be used for guests needing a quiet, private space. These private and secure suites are located near the A and E Meeting Rooms on Level 1.
The suites are ADA-compatible with a comfortable seating area and are equipped with standard AC power outlets and USB charger ports.

Recycle and Compost:
Spend some time at the Oregon Convention Center and you’ll soon catch on that we’re “greener” than most event venues. You’ll encounter options to recycle and compost items you no longer want or can’t keep, so please sort them carefully into the receptacles we provide.
If you have a reusable bottle for your water, look for the bottle fill stations at our water fountains too!

Accessible restroom facilities are available in the Oregon Convention Center public areas, including family and gender-neutral restrooms. Some are even kind of famous for the artwork inside!

Public Transportation:
Portland’s TriMet MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at our front door, connecting riders to downtown, surrounding neighborhoods, the Oregon Zoo, and Portland International Airport.
Portland Streetcar’s Central Loop stops at our MLK Lobby entrance every 15 minutes.
TriMet’s Bus Line No. 6 also stops at the MLK Lobby entrance and provides access to downtown stops and outlying areas. On days with a busy event schedule, public transportation provides the easiest arrival and departure experience.
